We provide information and signposting on a wide range of voluntary and statutory organisations supplying services in our area. In addition to this, members of the public can make enquiries at the office about a wide range of local schemes such as services for older and disabled people. All enquiries are followed up and if we cannot provide the information you are looking for we will endeavour to put you in contact with someone who can.
KIVCA encourages networking and partnerships between voluntary and statutory agencies; actively supporting new initiatives which benefit local people. We promote volunteering and have strong links across the Bradford Metropolitan District, tapping into regional and national networks. Ilkley & District Good Neighbours and Ilkley & District Community Transport are now separate charities but continue to be administered from the voluntary services office. Enquiries or bookings for minibus hire or car lifts can be made from the same phone number. KIVCA's Ilkley Office covers the areas around Addingham, Burley in Wharfedale and Menston. For people living outside this area, our Links page has a list of general nationwide voluntary resources.
From our Ilkley office we administer a number of community projects for Good Neighbours. We are always happy to recruit new volunteers!
