Keighley Voluntary Services steps in to support Ilkley Voluntary and community groups

On 1st November Keighley Voluntary Services took over responsibility for voluntary services provided to community groups in Ilkley, Addingham, Burley in Wharfedale and Menston. Funding advice, providing office and printing facilities as well as managing volunteers and helping new groups to set up will also continue to be supported.

Ilkley and District Community Star Awards

In conjunction with the BMDC Keighley Area Committee, Ilkley and District Council for Voluntary Service held a Community Star Awards event on the 22nd October to recognise and celebrate the work of individual volunteers and groups making a real difference to the lives of people in the Ilkley District. The Lord Mayor of Bradford, Cllr Howard Middleton, made the Award presentations.
