Good Neighbours
is a team of volunteers, managed from the ICVS office, who help
the community by offering practical assistance where it is needed.
Grassroots
Our most recent venture, Grassroots,
is a band of DIYers and gardeners who visit homes in Ilkley
& District to tidy gardens, change light-bulbs, decorate
rooms and much more.
Over
90s
Each year Good Neighbours organises an over 90s tea party.
It also delivers Christmas parcels to the elderly and Christmas
dinners to those on their own.
Good
Companions
The Good Companions scheme aims
to match volunteers to 'befriend' older or disabled people who
are socially isolated, recently returned from hospital etc.
