Become an ICVS Volunteer!

The Ilkley & District CVS welcomes volunteers to help support the services which we administer. Many community projects are only made possible by support from dedicated volunteers drawn from all walks of life.

All members of the community have something to offer and people choose to volunteer for many reasons. Not only do volunteers find the work rewarding and enjoyable, but many find it a good way to build self confidence, meet new people and develop new skills.

At the moment the following projects are administered from the ICVS office:

  • ICVS Office
Office staff for administration and support
  • Community Transport
Minibus Service - Drivers and Escorts
Car Drivers Scheme - Drivers and Escorts
  • Good Neighbours projects
    Grassroots - Enthusiastic 'DIY-ers'
Over 90's party - each September
Annual Christmas parcel scheme and Christmas lunches
  • Good Companions a befriending scheme for older people. More...

If you think you can help,
please contact the office for further information.

ICVS Volunteer Point

If you are interested in volunteering but are not sure what kind of project would suit you or what commitment you can offer, please contact the office and, with Keighley Volunteer Centre, we will be able to arrange an informal interview to help place you. Also if your organisation requires volunteers, we may be able to identify possible candidates.
